Released in Winter 2019 in North America, and later in the year worldwide, I had the opportunity to illustrate a Reserve Coffee Card for Starbucks Roastery and Reserve stores. Art direction provided by the talented Marisa Crane.
The inspiration for this card design came from the natural beauty of the land and the effort the Medina family has put into cultivating high-quality coffee beans. Surrounded by mountains and hills, the farm is over 142 hectares and home to oaks, pines, cypress with fresh water streams running through it. The detailed linoleum print-style is a nod to the Medinas’ dedication to their farm in order to produce quality coffee beans, and the color palette mimics the colors of the naturally beautiful environment of La Colina Farm.
